ABOUT US
Don has more than 40 years of consulting and corporate security management experience, including senior security management positions at Apple Computer, Compaq/HP, and Sun Microsystems. He has successfully served clients as a licensed security management consultant for more than fifteen years. Greenwood Security
Don serves on the American Society for Industrial Security’s Information Asset Protection Council, and was chairman in 2001. He published Business and Technology Protection, a well-regarded newsletter, from 1992 to 1996, and authored the chapter on Trade Secrets in the Encyclopedia of Security Management. Additionally, he co-founded the Technology Asset Protection Association (TAPA), now an international organization with hundreds of technology and logistics member companies.
He has conducted risk assessments and managed security projects in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Russia, France, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Holland, Australia, and Puerto Rico. He is a highly sought after consultant, trainer, and speaker.

Founder, ChairmanJon joined Greenwood Security Services in 2009 to work on the numerous Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism (CFATS) projects the company submitted to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Jon supports many client projects including CFATS Security Plan development and submittal, Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) security assessments, security plans, and annual requirements; DOT Hazmat Security Plans and Training, and TSA Pipeline security assessments and security plans.
He is our lead Facility Security Officer trainer and manages audits and exercises for many MTSA facilities. Jon has a BA degree from the University of Texas. He is an active member of the American Society for Industrial Security.
Jonathan M. Greenwood
Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Senior ConsultantKaren brings years of experiences as office manager for a large medical practice, administrative support for an investment company, and managing engineering document control and the ECN process for the manufacturer of the space shuttle’s booster rockets and the rocket motors for many missile systems. Karen manages our company’s books and finances; billing and payables; and the interface with client’s accounting departments. She also manages document and specification control for large projects where this is essential for uniform revision and updating.
